1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Elvis "Kate" bag <3 on: March 18, 2010 07:27:14 PM
Hi everyone I just finished this bag last night (I have been working on it since Monday doing a little each night!).  I am really happy with it and it was inspired by the "Kate" bag (I'm in love with the style of this bag)by ModernGirl which can be found here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=230856.0.  It is lined with a lightweight fabric (I wasn't really worried about getting a fancy print lining for the inside since it is only for myself).  I also added in a bottom and side panels of fabric to add more depth to the bag.  I have already gotten a few compliments on it, but I am more interested in what my fellow Craftster's have to say!

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Race car bag! on: March 14, 2010 02:01:14 PM
I made this bag for my cousins son.  He likes cars just like every little boy does so I made this tote bag for him to keep his trucks and cars in.  The bag is reversible and big enough to hold a lot of toys.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Green and Blue organizer pouch on: March 13, 2010 09:19:22 AM
Hey Everyone!  Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not.  I made this to keep in my bag for school so I can organize my stuff.  It has a few slots for pens and pencils, a pocket for more pens, pencils, erasers, etc., and a spot for my scissors and double ended transfer needles for my knitting class.  It is about 8 inches tall and is closed with a ribbon.  Hope you guys like it and again please excuse the horrible pictures.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cute Pink and Orange Bag on: March 13, 2010 09:06:31 AM
Hi everyone!  It has been a while since I have posted.  I made this a few months back for a girl I babysit for her birthday... she was turning 7 or 8.  The bag is also reversible.  Sorry the pictures are so bad ... I took them really fast and it was night time so the lighting in my room was terrible - and I have no clue why they are appearing upside down and sideways.

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Black and Pink Pillow on: June 20, 2009 11:25:26 AM
I made this pillow for my cousin for her dorm room.  She loves black and pink and the colors also match the basket of goodies that we are giving her.  I sewed a ribbon where the two fabrics meet.  It is about 18 inches long and about 10 ish inches tall.  The pillow is not as lumpy as it looks in the pictures.

Hi everyone!  I made this polka-dot clutch and then I sewed all the buttons on by hand!  The inside is lined with a light cream colored fabric and it closes with elastic that can be wrapped around any button you so choose.  So here it is!  Hope you guys like it!

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Pink and Red Polka-Dots on: April 02, 2009 07:10:19 PM
Hi everyone!  I made this bag for one of the little girls at my work.  She has been asking me to make her a pink bag for her to carry her crocheting things in so this is what I came up with.  I didn't use any interfacing because she usually doesn't carry anything too heavy, but now I am wondering if I should have used interfacing.  It is reversible if she so chooses to do so and the handles are made out of ribbon I had lying around.  So here it is - I hope she will like it!

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New bag with braided handles on: April 01, 2009 05:01:49 PM
Hey everyone!  I made this bag over the weekend and overall I am pretty happy with it.  I hand braided the handles and I added three pockets - one on the outside and two on the inside.  One pocket on the inside also has three spots for pens or crocheting needles.  This bag was also way inexpensive to make - the purple fabric was given to me from a friends stash and the lining fabric was really cheap from the as-is section at Ikea!  I hope you guys like it!
