ok, im sorry i dont have any pictures... i need to get a camera!
but anyway, i made this skirt:
http://www.simplicity.com/index.cfm?page=search.cfm&numMatch=2&design_id=13618&design=4091&thumbnail_image=4091t.jpg&ldesc=Misses%20Skirts&size_range=6%20to%2020for a friend. i guess i should have taken her measurments, but i made a size 6 and its too small! i feel so bad, because she picked out the material (it was a really pretty pink/purple boucle) and it turned out super-pretty. i also added pockets with bias trim. i'd made it for myself before, in the sameish material, and iit seemed big for me. but i used french seams on hers, so that probably made it smaller.
anyway, the question is, does anyone have any ideas about how i could possibly make it a little bigger? the bottom of the skirt has the flounce, so i dont think i should touch that, but i wast thinking of putting in a triangular panel on the side or maybe 2 in the back. or something?
any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
