the art show was fun!  i have to post some pictures of my other little felt cakes that i made, when i get them back and i can take some pictures.

it was a theme--art with little characters having tea parties, little creature and make-believe stuff.  i wanted the food i served to match it.

the petite fours are just tiny cakes or deserts.  they can be a variety of different things.  these were just sponge cake with a fondant glaze.

So i made these for an Art show i had.  All my pieces were fairytales and teaparty themed.  so i served these little cakes and tea.

both the panels and the brim.  i...dont remember how much.  i had to use less seam allowance for this one, because he has a gigantic melon.   but the hat actually runs big, based on the prototype  i made a while ago...

yes, i comes with simple patterns, that you need to enlarge on a copier.  some of the projects just have you follow the directions for the size of a circle.. or something.  the cocktail hats are the most fun..ive made a few of those. Smiley
