I love it!! My husband and I play that occasionally and he always loses, because I know he will always pick Spock.

Ha! I am not that person. It is a weird similarity. Mine was created out of some deep need I have to put tentacles on everything. Ever little doodle I draw has tenctacles going everywhere.

Also, I think hers is way cooler than mine.

Love it! That show has such great quotables perfect for this. Clever idea!

This is the greatest thing I have ever seen!

This is an ami that I made from a bored on the phone doodle. He has button eyes, a felt face, lots and lots of tentacles, and little watery beads.

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Robot Measurements on: October 27, 2009 06:29:15 AM
Robots like to be precise. I embroidered this guy on a tape measure cozy. He is just a doodle.

The other side of the cozy just has some french knots and starry things. Not as neat as Mr. Roboto here. He's made from felt, embroidery thread, and sewing thread.

Thanks! The idea is definitely not original to me but they are super easy to make.

My user IDs most definitely come from the Carter Family song. Smiley
9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered Tape Measure Cover on: October 26, 2009 12:39:58 PM
Making these for birthday gifts. The photos are from the tutorial on my blog (hence why one of them has scissors in the photo). These are very simple. My next one is going to have beads! Exciting!

10  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Quilt Jewelry-Opinion Please on: August 22, 2008 12:56:26 PM
I actually have seen something kinda similar (she was doing jewelry related to the barn quilt squares that are popping up all through Appalachia) at a craft fair in Ohio and the lady was selling quite a bit.  I actually bought a bracelet she made for my mom for christmas.

I, personally, would definitely buy a piece!
