1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / PMC Greyhound charm on: March 21, 2009 06:00:25 PM
mothers day pressie

I made the greyhound charm with PMC. the heart I just stuck on the pre-bought bracelet.

but I'm very very pleased with how the greyhound came out. because he's so dainty in places I didn't think he'd survive firing and polishing.  Smiley
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Silver lining. PMC pendant on: January 03, 2009 09:52:28 AM

it's more silver in the middle parts than it looks in the pic, not white like that.

I wirebrushed all over to get the frosted silver finish, then burnished the edges to give the clouds their silver linings.
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / mans cord bracelet on: December 29, 2008 11:00:31 AM

fairly self explanatory really.

did it as a pressie for my cousins rather lovely boyfriend.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / my first go with PMC on: December 29, 2008 10:59:03 AM
I did an ivy leaf, then some other pendanty thing, with a crescent moon on it.

the ivy leaf was fairly straightforward, technique wise. with the moon pendant, I only burnished the background, leaving the moon part only polished with a wire brush, so it has a more frosted finish than the surrounding area.

really pleased with these, and I've got more ideas I'm looking forward to trying.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / beaded wall hanging and keyrings on: December 29, 2008 10:46:52 AM
some Christmas pressies I made.

the piccie of the keyrings came out really badly. it's monograms. TW on the blue one and YW on the red one.

and the wall hanging I'm really proud of. it's for my mans new niece, Iris.

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / "arterial" beaded bracelet on: December 06, 2008 01:21:47 PM
well, that's what I've been calling it, and that's why I decided to add the heart to the chain.

the outer loops spiral around. I'm hoping to do a DNA inspired version, but this one makes me think of blood vessels.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Christmas Kisses Tiara on: December 06, 2008 01:15:21 PM
I didn't have a base, so i made my own with copper wire, then added lots of beads, I beaded some mistletoe leaves, and used artificial pearls on headpins for berries.

so.

plenty of Kisses under the mistletoe at my Christmas parties, I hope

(please forgive unwashed hair and blonde roots)

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / beaded skull and crossbones, and a bracelet. on: December 06, 2008 01:12:46 PM
one from a pattern in a magazine. a bit iffy in parts, but still proud of it, and I'll definitely do some more.

and a stretchy bugle bracelet, for my mum that wears a lot of coppery colours.

again, sorry for the swamping of posts, I just want to show off my projects so far. thank you for your patience.

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / two necklaces from kits, for Christmas pressies on: December 06, 2008 01:05:09 PM
