1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Twelve rectangular beveled glass pieces. on: October 14, 2011 09:22:11 PM
My father recently replaced our house lights and gave me the dozen beveled glass panes that came out of them, around 4"x2" each. I really would like to use them for something cuz I hate to see them go to waste. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can make with them? Thanks for your thoughts.
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Finally posting my mosaic topped coffee table on: July 31, 2009 09:39:38 AM
so this is my second time posting something ive made, i built this table a few months back and then did the heartagram  top (with lots of help from my bf) put framing around the mosaic top and then poured resin overtop of it to make it a flat surface. One problem though. either I didnt use enough hardening drops in the resin or somethin else but the top is sticky, the things i put on top of the table usually adhere there somewhat. I will be putting glass over top of all of it when i can find someone to cut it for me.
Just a question. Does anyone think that after I put the glass top on the table this would be worth selling on etsy? Im starting college soon and a little extra money would be helpful. So throw out any possible prices you would think this would be worth.
Thanks very much Smiley

Without further ado:

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / any ideas on what to do with this purse i just recieved? on: July 08, 2009 05:23:53 PM
hi everyone, first time posting on the bags & etc. board. im in need of some ideas on what to do with a purse i was just given. Its shiny silver and its some kind of like pleathery fabric. what kind of things can i do to it? would image reproduction work on it? or even cross stitching or embroidery. its definately too girly for my taste, i wanna make it a little rock and roll and interesting. any ideas would be welcome!
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / reupholstered chair on: April 10, 2009 12:28:10 PM
i finished this project a long time ago, it was originally for a past craftster challenge but right when i wanted to enter it, i lost my camera cord and couldnt upload anything. sooo heres it finally after about a year of it being finished. this has been my first and so far only reupholstery project, and i think it turned out pretty good.

Before chair: bought at local goodwill, it had stains and the wood was too dark for my taste

Gutted chair: took off all the fabric and the very worn out padding

Finished chair: lovely fabric, and painted the arms and legs gold!

i hope you like it! i dont have the chair anymore though sadly Sad
