Hey guys! This is my very first post, so be easy on me! This is a clutch I made for my soon to be mother-in-law for X-mas. She is a big fan of Mexican folk art. The body of teh clucth is just a simple rectangular design and the two fabrics used were recycled from a panel skirt I wore til It had holes all over it. The Frida Kahlo patch is sewn to the front. The patch itself is a cyaotype- or alternative photographic process on fabric. "sun printing" I think it is also called. If you are a craftaholic and loves fibers, please look up cyanotyping, its inexpensive and uber addicitive and satisfying! Finally, the button at the handle is a vintage Norwegian button my future MIL actually gifted to me (shes Norwegian! I wish she would post her knitting!) Anyway! All feedback welcome!!! Thanks!
sorry for the bad quality, I only had my cellphone with me at the time!
