21  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Spiced Pumpkin Shandy and More Handmade Soap on: October 03, 2013 12:42:17 PM
Hi Krissy!  I used a small amount of Guiness after trace.  I have replaced the entire liquid amount with beer in the past and have had a few problems.  I used 4 oz. of stout to my 45 oz. batch of soap.
I want to hear about the duck/goose sausage.  Was it yummy?

This past week I made some new soap for an upcoming Octoberfest show that I am participating in.  I'm hoping they fly off of my table.

First up, Spiced Pumpkin Shandy, made with real pumpkin,  cinnamon essential oil, ground nutmeg and Leinenkugel's orange shandy:

This is the Lavender Cardamom Patchouli Stout, made with lavender and patchouli essential oils, ground cardamom and Guiness stout:

And here is my Pomegranate Poppy Seed:

Package number two from Eiseldora is wonderful.  She sent a bag of whimsies and a stencil kit.

Finger puppets, pin-back buttons, ceramic kokeshi box.  There is a narwhal finger puppet that I neglected to get a pic of.

I squealed a little when I saw the matryoshka cello bags and stickers.

Baby limbs, stamps and other little things.

Funny suckers

Stencil kit

Thank you so much, Eiseldora!
