I have recently completed this doll for a swap member. It was a part of the Sailor Moon Warm Up Swap. (for an awesome crafter named Usagi-chan) Let me just say this, I love sailor moon! I have loved the show since late 1990s/ early 2000s. The show being the first anime for me, it will always hold a place in my heart. Well, when I saw the swap come up, I really wanted to be in it. But sadly, I couldnt at the time But!! When I saw an oppurtunity to angel for someone in the swap, I couldnt pass it up.
Anyway, on to the doll. It was a pattern that I made up going along. I saw a few other crocheted sailor moons around the web, as well as on crafter, but they werent quite what i wanted to do. (I wanted something big headed, and just all around sweet looking) Needless to say, I love the way this came out!
With all that hair, she is definitely top heavy. But I couldnt deny her the signature hairstyle! This is my first crocheted doll. I've done a few cupcakes, a few animals, but never a human. haha
Enough talk! Tell me what you think!
...because Sailor Moon hangs out in trees... right? Right.
Isn't she cute? P.S. Her legs arent crooked, I just put her that way without realizing it
And another fun picture: A group shot of her and the other little critters I made her in the swap
