I found this vintage dresser at the end of my neighbour's driveway. It took me two days to drum up the courage to go and grab it (what if someone saw me? My cover as a dumpster diver would be blown!). I finally did, though. And in the middle of the day. Go me! Cover blown.
Anyhow, for some reason, I saw this one painted aqua (big shocker there) and with hot air balloons on it. So, I got to work...like...right away...because if my husband came home and saw that I hauled in more garbage, he would be pissed. I had to let him know that I was getting straight to business.)
I sanded, I primed, I painted (with homemade chalk paint) and then I got to do the fun stuff. Draw and paint the balloons! And then once I was done that, I would start distressing by sanding and with glaze, and you know what? I am pretty happy with it!
