1  cupcake for my friend (img chubby) in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by thefireninja on: January 17, 2009 05:43:36 AM
ok, so my friend's birthday was...well, a month ago.  instead of buying her something, i decided to make her some stuff to go with her new room and bathroom.  i got two pretty napkins from linens & things at their closing out sale and i made her a soap!

this isn't my first cupcake soap, but it is the first one that didn't get poked until the frosting deflated Cheesy

i made this out of the white melt and pour soap base with a TON of powdered oatmeal.  then i whipped some soap up and folded in MORE powdered oatmeal and about 3 drops of green food coloring.  i piped that onto the soap, and after a mess-up and some slight smooshing of the soap, tada!  now i need to go to my local bakery and get one of those plastic clamshell boxes to package it in....

one more thing: thanks to all the people who gave me advice and are still answering my questions on what you can and can't put in melt and pour soap!   Grin
