6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: THE GENERIC GIRLFRIEND THREAD (FOR LESBIANS, BISEXUALS AND MALES) on: July 08, 2008 10:11:26 PM
I made this really cool girft for my BFF on her birthday- she is currently in Japan for the summer, so since she had her birthday about 2 months before she left, I thought I would make her a little something for her trip...
I am a little mermaid NUT, so I found a litle mermaid suicase, and filled it with things she could use. I made a straightening iron cozy out of an oven glove, I put in a travel pillow I made for her with a little insider in it- It was a pillow with a "kilt" wrapped around it and when you lifted it up you could see the privates heehee...I found a japanese wallet, and then some personal equipment haha, nude playing cards and a vibrator that looks like a blush brush Wink

WOW! That sounds hella sweet, x-rated plushies, definetley different! Let us know how that turns out!

As for this...I've been reading through this topic for a looong while now, and have definetley gotten some great ideas from it!
I made him a t-shirt blanket, a hallowed out book, I decoupaged a HUGE CD rach for him, I made the "prophilactic tactic" (you want to look up the backseat kiss) which is a robot condom dispenser hahaha! UUUUM...I've done a couple portraits of us, I wrote a book that is "173 reasons why I love you" a HUGE scrapbook, monster plushies- OH a cool one...he always leaves his cds everywhere in the car and they get scratched, so I bought about 10 jewel cases and drew random pictures on the paper that you see in the front there- I drew up the tattoo he wanted to get (and got for that matter!) I baked playdough figurines of us and set them up in a kind of shadow box, I wrote about 20 songs for his band (I LOVE TO WRITE! so it took a LOOONG ass time, but definetley worth it...) and slipped them into a duotang...again with the songs, I wrote one line of a song I had writted on a piece of paper, and had it inside a blown up balloon for him to pop, and then put together...one year I did this really neat thing where I made his birthday a treasure hunt, and each little girt had a clue about where to find the next... one clue was on the back of a picture I printed out of us, and I cut it up so that he had to put it back together (a puzzle) and that was the only way he could read the clue... and another good way to make your gifts creative- if you are giving a small gift, put it in layers, bigger box, bigger box, bigger box, and then it gets really fun! My bf and I have been together about 4 years, and I am a pretty creative person, I hardly EVER buy gifts, most of it comes from my own hard earned time Wink so these are some of the things I've done!
