illness makes mel creative  Grin

I couldn't really get a good picture of this.. it's two strands of blue beads and after every 10 beads the two strands are joined by a silver star bead.

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / A new necklace. on: January 01, 2008 08:23:09 PM
I'm not really sure how to describe it.. but I got supplies to make it for Christmas, and just whipped it up the other day. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out..  Smiley

There was chain that was supposed to be for a bracelet, but I decided [after finishing] that it was too bulky a bracelet for me, and I added some extra chain I had lying around. The clasp was also in my collection.

Sorry for the bad pics =[
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Zebra frame! on: January 01, 2008 08:17:17 PM
So we just got a new Ikea near me. Gotta say, it's the coolest store ever. So I picked up two plain white picture frames for like $2 and took my sharpies to them.

It's supposed to be like a zebra print. I'm pretty happy with it.. I just freehanded the whole thing with black marker. Excuse the weird picture thing in the frame.  Tongue

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / My new addiction.. on: November 20, 2007 08:29:26 AM
It began with the red and green christmasy one.. and then I couldn't stop.  Tongue

Sorry for the bad pictures.. It was late at night and for some reason my camera flash wouldn't work =[

I love this one.. it's all different colors.. the big charmy-bead thing I got in the mail for signing a paper at school when we had someone come talk to us in health class about cervical cancer. It says maketheconnection on the opposite side.

Thanks for looking  Grin
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Scarfs.. in Florida? on: November 20, 2007 08:21:42 AM
I know I know.. when am I ever going to need this many scarves in Florida? But they're just so easy.. and so much fun to make! =D Besides, I'm still kind of a beginner crocheter.

My first creation, as modeled by my cat, OC. I got an entire box full of yarn at a yardsale for $3 so I was like WOO! RAINBOW!  Shocked

Here's a close up of the colors and fringey-stuff. It looks kind of crooked and picked apart and weird.. I promise it's actually really nice looking.. and super soft in real life. But my cat like to try and eat it..  Tongue

He just had to stick his paw in there..

Thanks for looking!  Grin
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Breast Cancer Awareness on: October 29, 2007 01:55:11 PM
I whipped this up the other day..  Cheesy I'm going to get one of the ribbon charms to put on it.. but I love it so much I couldn't wait.  Tongue

I was thinking I might do other colors for different ribbons too..

Hey everyone!  Grin

Pink/Green mittens with green beads.

Excuse the weird flash, but this shows how bright the colors are better.

Three different kinds of chain with a feather in the middle.

Man this pair was a pain in the butt to photograph =[

Three strands of beads.. different shades of green/blue. For my cousin.. I hope she likes them  Smiley

Updated:
Forgot to add these..  Grin

Chain with really pale green beads and some pearly things. On top of a friendly reminder that I should be doing all my Spanish make up work..  Tongue

Thanks for looking  Smiley
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / NFL MP3 Holder [Pic Hvy] on: October 06, 2007 08:59:21 AM
I think this is kind of reconstructed..

Okay so.. I'm sure some of you have seen that at Burger King they have these little NFL jersey things. Well my dad asked for an Eagles one and he also came across a Jets one and gave them to me. He handed me the Jets one right when I was listening to my mp3 player and I happened to notice that it was perfect size.. sooo.

All I did was add some velcro. I haven't decided if I'm going to leave the sleeves as is or remove them or what.

Mp3 in it's home

Velcro at the bottom

Should I want to listen to it while it's in the case.. the headphones fit perfectly through the neck hole.

Next to a pen.. as you can see it's not very big.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Help for beginner? on: October 04, 2007 09:30:32 AM
So.. I can do like the basic.. straight.. chain like crochet thing I guess you could say? I can do like scarves and blankets and easy stuff like that but I'm kind of wanting to move on to something like a hat or whatever [to go with all them scarves!] but I have NO idea where to start.. I've tried to look some stuff up but it makes me so confused.. lol

Does anyone have any tips or anything for me? I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks  Smiley
