1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Baz's Birth Announcement on: April 28, 2007 09:03:11 PM
Here's one of those birth announcement thingies I made my son. It's just a real simple design done on the back side of some twill remnants I got for $2. First one os true to color while the second shows the detail better because I wasn't smart enough to take the photo BEFORE framing it. *rolls eyes* I am happy with how the frame mimics the backstitching.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A sock and a hat on: February 04, 2004 07:42:04 PM
Here's my first crochet sock! I love it so... and I'm almost done with the second already. It was surprisingly easy and fast.

And here's a yarn sample I made for the shop that I work at to show off the cute yarns and how they build up. This is Plassard's P'Tite Fleur and Dune made into a young girl's hat.

*beams in accomplishment*
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Faux Fur Collar on: January 28, 2004 07:45:33 PM
This was made out of black "Peacock" and brown/black and tan-brown/black "Barroness" and a P hook. I wish the picture was better, so you could see the rich colors of it. It looks so close to beaver fur in real life that it's scarey. Maybe I'll try to get my boss to model it for me and get a better close-up of the colors.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Furry Wrist Thingie on: December 03, 2003 07:50:31 PM
This started out as a headband, but midway through I remembered that I hated crocheting fun fur. I connected it with the thoughts of making it into a cat toy, but it fit my wrist, so I kept it that way! I love how it turned out.
