A friends friend came to me a while back, saying how she heard i was a seamstress, and asking if i would make her a dress. naturally i said sure, bring me a sketch or pictures of what she wanted it to look like, and I would estimate a price.
This is the final project, its made out of Tessa Sating and I'm guessing bridal chiffon. The chiffon... as always was a pain to sew... I always say never again to it... but i always end up doing just this one LAST project... *sigh* I'm doomed to chiffon forever i guessThe Specifics are as Follows:
-3/4 circle skirt of black Tessa sating with chiffon panel overlays.
-Fitted bodice of Tessa sating overlayed with chiffon and embroidered with Greek Squares at the neck and the waist
-Sleeves are fitted to the elbow and flair out below the elbow and gathered, but can be un-gathered to cover the wrist. Embroidered with same Greek squares allong bicep and elbow edges
-Back laces up with a 2" gap
