2631  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Wish swap GALLERY Round 61 on: August 10, 2010 04:22:42 PM
I received an awesome package from babalina58 today! She claimed me for a stenciled shirt and again for stenciled lounge pants. She went above and beyond and I love everything! Thanks so much babalina58!

Twilight stenciled shirt/pants set

MysteryGuitarMan shirt/pants set (see youtube for more info LOL)

And she sent me some really cool Harry Potter stuff, a journal and 2 pillowcases. My 4yr old has claimed one for herself.  Cheesy

I'd love to take part in this, I'm just finishing up my first swap so hopefully swap registration will fall at the right time for me to take part Smiley I was into buffy but am a more firefly and dollhouse fan, I could craft these two and buffy / angel but would struggle with dr horrible? would that be a huge issue?

Nope no issue. I try to partner up based on favorites and what shows people want to craft/receive from.

I must be odd, but I thought season 2-3 of Buffy were the best. After she left HS I thought it started going downhill. I pretty much quit watching part way into the 4th season. I will probably eventually buy the DVDs to complete my collection and watch the rest

I didn't care much for season 4 either, the whole Riley/Initiative/Adam thing bored me. I only watch a couple of those episode when on a Buffy kick. You really should watch the rest though because most are really good.

I just finished my large and I am quite thrilled with it! I am off to work on the smalls and maybe I can send tomorrow or Wednesday! I am leaving town to see Meat Loaf, my life-long hero, live in concert, so I want to send before that. I am really proud of it and a little bit attached to it. It is by far the most detailed ________ I have ever made! I hope you like it, Padfoot! I sent some pictures to AmyDice to get her approval and see if it is worthy enough to send. lol.

No, it is not up to par. You can send it to me, I will check it to make sure it's ok to send. I will also give it a wonderful home and love it all the time!!!! lol.

Cheesy Now you both have my curiosity and excitement up, I can't wait to see what you made.  Grin I am busy crafting away today and I'm hoping to get some things finished up tonight.  On a side note, too cool that you get to see Meat Loaf in concert.

Don't forget the train wreck that is "once more with feeling"  Roll Eyes

awww...that is one of my favorite episodes. Actually I love just about any from season 6. I agree about Double Meat Palace though, I usually just skip to the Spike scenes in that episode. Wink Cheesy

I'd totally be in, except (please don't hurt me) I'm actually only really a Firefly fan than anything else hes produced, is that a nono? Should we appreciate a wider range of his material to be involved really? I haven't done a Whedonverse swap before so not sure whats happened in the past.

No its fine. I actually had only watched Buffy when I started signups last time. But I checked out Firefly/Serenity and Dr. Horrible while waiting for the swap to start and had to add them to my list of favorites.  Smiley

I have seen a few sneak peaks of other things and I must say I am jealous of some receivers here! I was planning to work on this package all day and send it out on Monday but our town had an unbelievable storm. The little tiny holes in our roof caved in and our apartment was flooded. The rain came down so hard it put holes in the roof and ceiling and the carpet is soaked all the way through. And then our bathroom flooded the same day. Needless to say, today has been spent cleanining, soaking up and airing out the carpets, and fixing the roof and ceiling. So hopefully tomorrow fairs better for my crafting day!

How terrible, I am glad you are okay. Sorry you have such a mess, hopefully there wasn't too much damage.

Sad I'm sorry Mr. Todd has being so disagreeable. I haven't had a chance to work on anything this week. My almost 5 yr old is having some behavioral issues and has been taking up my crafting time. I'm hoping to be able to sit down tonight and work on some things.

HAHAHAHA!!!  I feel like if everything were to run smoothly with him, then he wouldn't be as awesome as he is turning out!!!  He really looks great so far, and I can't to get him to you!!!

My dad has been hospitalized for the last week with a blood infection caused by spinal surgery, so I understand how family is cutting in to crafting time!!!  Hope things getting better for you, not just for crafting, but so that Mommy can have a breather!!!

Thanks. I'm sorry, I hope your dad is doing better. Sad I was able to do a little crafting last night, she was good all day up until bed time, which is progress I guess. Smiley

We have two senders. Can't wait to see the goodies. Here is a link to the gallery http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=355965.0

Haven't done much crafting this week. My almost 5yr old is having some behavioral issues and no spell is working so far. I am hoping to be able to do some crafting for this and other swaps tonight.
