331  Batman, Jacob Black, Yoda and a jellyfish in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by spikefan on: May 07, 2011 06:15:59 PM
I made these for different swaps recently. I love making amigurumis but they are so hard to part with after their finished.  Cheesy

332  Twilight scarf, armwarmers and apple trinket box in Crochet: Completed Projects by spikefan on: May 07, 2011 05:55:18 PM
I made these for the Twilight swap. I think I used this pattern for the base of the scarf http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/basic-fishnet-scarf and just winged the apple applique. Thee armwarmers were made with a woven stitch and then seamed up the sides and I added picot stitch edging.

333  Doctor Who shrinky dink charm bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by spikefan on: May 07, 2011 05:39:32 PM
I made this for the Doctor Who rd 5 swap based on some inchies I had made. I also made a similar necklace but didn't get pics of it. I have been meaning to remake them as stitch markers for myself but haven't gotten around to it yet.

334  Twilight inspired pendants and keychain in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by spikefan on: May 07, 2011 05:26:37 PM
I haven't made any jewelry in a while and my partner in the Twilight swap asked for pendants so once I got started I couldn't stop.  Cheesy I checked out a few tutorials for the dreamcatcher pendants.

I think this one is my favorite. I used a shell charm on this one for a La Push feel.

The next ones are an Alice inspired crystal ball based on one I saw on etsy, a dreamcatcher and a woodburned imprinted pendant.

Another dream-catcher pendant, the base is wire wrapped with ribbon.

I received an awesome package today from my wonderful partner IsikkahJai!

Something red & black: A beautiful reversible tote! Vampire chic on inside and nature & wolves on the outside.

Something cold & warm: Two pretty bookcovers and extra alova suede cloth.

Something starting with the letter B and something sparkly: Adorable Bella/stupid lamb and Edward/masochistic lion punkins! Aren't they so cute!?

And in Bella's backpack was something with feathers. A beautiful mini dream catcher

I absolutely love everything! Thanks so much for the wonderful package and for being an awesome partner IsikkahJai!

I received this week from redstar13 and edie22. redstar13 sent my daughter a princess towel but she used it the other day and left it outside and it rained. Will try and get a pic up tomorrow unless redstar13 has a pic of it and wants to post.

edie22 sent me two cross stitch hoops, a whale and a tardis. She also sent some fabric and a pack of leverback earrings pieces that I forgot to include in the pic.

Thanks redstar13 and edie22!  Grin

I received a great supply package Wednesday from aheartofglass. She sent some safety eyes, heat bond tape, embroidery hoops, stamp carving blocks and crochet hooks. Funny thing about the hooks, I had put size d and e on my list a while back because I had lost mine in middle of a project. I looked up and down for them and could not find them. What happens the same day I get these, I find them both.  Roll Eyes Cheesy But that is okay I needed spares anyway since I always seem to lose them and one of my old ones was bent and hard to use.

Thanks again for the awesome package aheartofglass!  Grin

340  11th Doctor in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by spikefan on: April 25, 2011 05:40:38 PM
I was re-watching season 5 last week and was inspired to make a tiny 11th doctor.  I couldn't get his hair quite like I wanted but I still think he is adorable. He is 4" tall and the smallest person amigurumi I've ever made. Thanks for looking!  Grin
