3  dress in progress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by rachieann55 on: July 08, 2008 01:33:46 PM
I am making this dress for a sewing contest.

it is adorable but i am a bit biased.

i still need to put in a zipper, and make the sash, and i will be making a petticoat/skirt to go under..

its a simplicity pattern

6  Re: 2007 Costume Sewalong (All Costumes) in Clothing Sewalongs by rachieann55 on: September 17, 2007 01:30:43 PM
Our costumes are almost done. i have some hemming and trim to put on, and to make wings. but i won't make the wings till closer to halloween.
these are a little dark the tulle is actually a nice green-blue color...
She didnt want to take it off! i had to hide it!

the things hanging off the side are arm sleeves the are supposed to be attached, but i am going to take them off and slip them on separatly they make the dress part sit funny.
