21  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Robot Swap Round Two Gallery on: September 08, 2005 06:26:22 AM
I swear, I am going to give up swaps for a while, I can't seem to find time for it.  Just popping in to say my package will be a couple of days late -- stuff is nearly finished, but I have places I'm supposed to be tonight, tomorrow night, and Saturday, so it will be early next week before I can mail out.  REALLY sorry.

I got a really awesome package the other day, from dcjitterbug!

I will try to get pictures up, but she sent me a cute blank card with a lovey robot on it, and a magnet which I think was printed from the computer and then shrinky-dinked?  I totally have to try that!  It's great!  And the other thing, which my friend totally coveted last night, a bracelet made with the small size of glass marbles, with tiny pics of all different robots!  It's so cute!  I love it!

Thank you so much!

I think that is BKRenning's journal, if it has, like, little pansies on it.  I should have the next journal finished over the weekend.

I got a really cute pin from swap angel fort_loop a few days back -- I hadn't mentioned it because I wasn't sure who sent it!  I'll try to get a pic - it's a bottle cap with an "M" on it and completely encrusted with clear seed beads -- not microbeads but big sparkly seed beads.  It's great!  Thank you so much, fort_loop!

Dolores, do you have a suggestion for a good pattern?  This is my fave type of skirt, and I've wanted to learn to sew one, but I'm a novice sewer and not sure where to start.

I'm so glad you like them!  It's kind of funny, I was looking at your list of favorite colors, and it said pink and black and brown and blue, so I thought "okay!"  Wink

Dear SC:  Please don't apologize for anything!  Everything you have sent has been great!  I'm just sorry I haven't been able to post more pictures -- I asked my husband if he could maybe e-mail me my pictures from the camera, since he took the cable to work.  He said yes, but when he'll get around to doing it who knows...

This month, my SC sent an awesome pillow cover with a big appliqued monogram on it.  It's so pretty!  I love the colors -- brown, with the letter made out of the same light-blue paisley that my SC-made knitting needle case is made of (which is even now sitting out with a pile of yarn in my living room).  Also, some handmade soaps that look and smell lovely.  Thanks a lot, SC!

P.S. We finally bought a table and chairs for our backyard patio the other day (end-of-season sales, you know) and I was able to put my candle ring on the table.  It looks great!
