thank you Pupper - I will totally use everything you sent!
I received from my partner, onecrazymom, today. I absolutely ADORE all the treasures she sent. It was like mini-Christmas.
Here are the goodies all wrapped up and marked with each letter spelling out CHRISTIE:
And here are the goodies revealed:

onecrazymom - Thank you sooooo very sincerely for a wonderful package - I love it all!
My apologies for the poor picture quality - can't find my digital camera and had to rely on phone pics
I received small box from mom2em - lots of fun stuff (sorry pic quality is poor - dh is on travel with camera so I had to use phone) including various candlemaking supplies (2 pkgs wick, candle mold sealer bars, yellow candle dye, vial of candle scent), ephemera (italian book page, vintage carnival ticket, scrapbook cardstock printed with skulls/crossbones/hearts/stars), zippy bag of buttons (including lots of mother of pearl buttons) jewelry findings, beads, micro tiles, and other bits of 'craft happiness'
Woohoo - I received from one of my swap partners today, our wonderful swap organizer, hautedogclothing! You probably can't see me jumping up and down with joy (and if you can, stop peeking in my window!! ) but I am -- the package was STUFFED with awesomeness that I can soooooo totally use! Notice all the exclamation points - that's 'cuz I'm so darn happy!!!
Okay, onto the pictures - the complete contents
Close up of skull items - there are two packages of rub on transfers, two different peel and stick rhinestone skulls, and a skull stamp with hot pink ink pad! Ohhhhhh the skully-goodness!
Buttons buttons - lots and lots of buttons - I loooooove buttons - there are a number of mother of pearl buttons, about 10 pink buttons (i'm a freak for pink and black), and several great vintage buttons
A few of my favorite buttons (notice the little butterfly with red accents and the little bows and the vintage large black shield shaped buttons (I think the shield is destined to become a pendant)
Are you thinking, "gee that must be all"? Well, if you are, you are very very wrong fellow swappers! There is soooo much more (and, by the way, this is a medium box swap not a large!!!!)
So, my current crafty obsession is candlemaking and I listed candle supplies on my 'wants' not really thinking I would wind up with any but I was mistaken! There are five candle molds - a metal pillar candle mold, and four plastic two-part molds (two different size round candle molds, an oval mold, and a six sided mold). There is also a baggie full of waxed wicks with attached bases, and a plastic storage container with wax scents, colorants, and wick. How amazing is that?
Additionally, there are several items that I don't think showed up well in any of the pictures. There is a tube of foam adhesive backed letters, a big zippy bag of foam shapes and letters (my son is really going to have fun with these when he gets home from camp this afternoon!), and a big bag of chipboard alphabet letters.
Thank you so much hautedogclothing both for organizing this swap and for being such a thoughtful and generous partner!
Woohoo - I rec'd from my partner, lilyella, today - so much buttony-joy! Without further ado, the pics . . . .
Everything in the box -
Blanket-stitched felt pouch full o' buttons (with a button closure!) -
My favorite buttons in the pouch (note the adorable little teddy bear) -
Layered button magnets in one of my favorite color combos and a purse pack of tissues adorned with, you guessed it, a button picture -
Too darn adorable stuffie mushroom with white button polka-dots -
The most stinkin' cute tree of life stitchery with beautiful green button leaves, two heart buttons, and 'love' stamped on the fabric (loooooooooove it!!) -
And, from my list of stuff I especially like, a gnome - in the form of a candle - a candle that will never ever be burned because then it would no longer be a gnome and that would be soooooooo sad . . . . .
I so appreciate how much lilyella obviously paid attention to my likes - everything is so perfect.
I was in three private inchie swaps and I received from all three of my partners today -- awesome mail day (no bills, three envelopes full of inchie happiness!!) So, without further ado, the adorable 1" pretties
First, these beauties were made by nilmerg and are the first trade I have received from Australia!
My favorites are the day of the dead ones (especially the frida kahlo) and the 1950s fashion ladies - there is nothing more awesome than cat eye glasses and proper little hats!
Second, I opened up my envelope from kimchery and found so many wonderful inchies with lots of little add-ons (shrinky dinks, metal bits, lace, glitter, rolled paper)
My favorites are the sewing machine and the day of the dead ones
Third to be revealed are the inchies I received from crazyalien8 - I am so envious of her drawing skills! Each inchie is sketched, cut out, and layered onto a decorated background. My favorites are the cats ('cuz they look my little terror! and the mushroom cluster!)
Thank you so much everyone for an awesome private swap! You are all so talented and I am really proud to display your work!
Woohoo - I received from my partner (hellzapopper) today! First of all, let me say I was in a really *blah* mood this morning (for no apparent reason). Then my husband came in with the mail and lo and behold there was a package from hellzapopper - happy happy joy joy! Everything is absolutely perfect . . . . here are the photos -
Group shot of all the wonderfullness -
Troll amigurumi - soooooo stinkin' cute!
Mushroom potholder (I love it waaaaay to much to use as a potholder and am already planning to add a backing fabric and stuff it to add to my collection of 'happy stuffy goodness')
Chicky amigurumi pincushion - that, again, is far too adorable to be sullied with the addition of pins!
And, last but not least, 2, yes 2, pair of awesome skull earrings
Thank you again for the truly wonderful package - I hope I did as well for you!
Yeah my package was received by my partner, lilyella!
