i recently saw NAUSICAA OF THE VALLEY OF WIND and PRINCESS MONONOKE, and i'm going to see UP ON POPPY HILL in a couple weeks, so i thought, why not a Miyazaki hoopla swap? who doesn't want a Totoro on your wall?
I made this for a friend who loves the Simpsons. Crocheted with worsted weight Red Heart yarn. Homer applique is made of felt and glued on. I sewed on a snap closure. "S" monogram is for friend's first initial and it covers up the sewed part on the back of the snap. It's a snug fit with a little room at the top for earbuds.
It's so cute, I want to keep it for myself. Isn't that always the case?
