These are so lovely. They aren't too distractive but they are still noticeable. I would love these in my garden!

24  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Specialty Holiday Items? on: September 13, 2008 11:42:54 PM
Hi everyone,

So hopefully this isn't a dumb question but I was wondering how effective holiday items are for selling. I'm thinking that Christmas related crafts would do fine but I'm wondering on the others, like Halloween, Turkey day and the likes. Is it worth the time to craft them? Thanks for the input!   Smiley

Dollar section!? Holy cow!  Shocked

Well anyway... The set looks absolutely stunning. I'm sure she'll adore it... and everyone at Starbucks will be jealous, lol.
26  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Smelly (Bad Smelly) Soap Bars? on: September 13, 2008 11:31:50 PM
Yeah, I do admit that I bought it at a craft store and it was relatively cheap... bah. (Whatever the hobby lobby brand is...) Thanks for that ladies! I'll make sure to either 1) buy a different brand or 2) try a different process or something.

(And I am extremely  Shocked sensitive to smell, so that could factor into as well)
27  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Smelly (Bad Smelly) Soap Bars? on: September 10, 2008 11:10:41 AM
Hi bath and body-ers!

I have a question for all of you seasoned crafters. I made my first set of melt & pour soaps, yay! They turned out really cute but something is not quite right. The bars themselves have a weird, inorganic smell to them. I tried them out and they left my hand smelling pleasant, which is odd to me.

Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be the brand that I'm using? Did I add too much / too little scent to the bars? Any help is greatly appreciated!
