I love all of it!  Did you use a pattern for the t-shirt or did you just make that up too?  My dog hates sleeves, would love to try and make one.

This site is just making me crafty.  After looking at several of the dog clothes that were made on here, I was inspired to do the same.

Here is what I came up with.

1st is Josey in her flower power suit.  (She hates the flash, that is why she looks terrified.)  This was a scarf, I used one of her coats as a pattern. The best part is you really don't have to sew anything but the velcro.

2nd Princess outfit.  This was a small purse I found at the thrift store.  (I wish I had taken a before picture).  I think I need to add some trim around the bottom, it looks pretty ruff.  I used the purse handles for her belly and neck straps.

thanks for looking

Josey in new outfit made from scarf.

scarf I got for .99 cents at thrift store

layout of finished dress

and princess purse converted to dress. also .99 cents

Thanks, I adopted her from the Chihuahua rescue group.  She is wonderful and now very spoiled!  The first year I had her she would crawl all around the house (very scared).  Now she has so much confidence that she is overbearing to strangers and tries to bite them!  So now I put her in a bag when someone comes to visit and she calms right down.

Ok, these are pretty ruff since I am new at sewing, so no closeups. LOL  I made 3 different bags.  I did a search on line for baby slings and found all sorts of patterns.  My favorite was http://www.sleepingbaby.net/jan/Baby/no_sew.html
Her site offers a no sew way to make the sling.  I did sew my fabric into a long rectangle though, so that the suede would be on both sides.

2nd bag, leopard print.  the rings are sewed on.  Used this link

and lastly my cool hippie bag.  I just made this design up after seeing a similar bag for $50.00 in a dog magazine.

8  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Old Shoes on: August 18, 2007 06:00:00 PM
I just saw where someone took some shoes like that and put them in their flower garden and planted Chicks and hens in them.  They had one shoe facing in a little pigeoned toed.  It was really cute!  maybe you might use them for that.

Just think if they died you would give a whole new meaning to stinky feet!

I have araucana chickens, they lay green and blue eggs.  This is really cool because it freaks everyone out!

Araucana History . . . The Araucana, is a breed of poultry which lays blue and blue/green eggs that can trace it's descent from two rare South American types of chicken - the Collonca, and the Queteros.  The Collonca is a naturally clean faced, rumpless, blue egg laying fowl. The Queteros is tailed, has ear tuffs and usually lays a pinkish brown egg.  The cross between the Collonca and the Queteros resulted in the Araucana  (info from http://araucana.freeservers.com/)
