Ok so I got inspired to do a book bag off here
I did it the usuall way (glue, scrap fabric etc) except I covered the cover in clear packing tape but it looked really crummy so I thought hmmmm maybe I should just cover it completely with fabric.
I had this bag my mum found of old fabric scraps and dug through it and found a part one leg of a pair of black pants someone must have take up (they must have been flares or something) and I just stuck that right on the original store made hem met with the top of the book and then I just folded and glued the rough open end like present.....It was quick and easy and with hold and not brake easily becuase the pant leg is quite durable material.
I can't stand long and tiresome projects and this one was truthfully quick and easy....
After wards I glued on a stocking butterfly(it's the think in the corner) and then the ribbon helps to hold it closed and I can ajust it to what size I want
(sorry about the cruddy pics...could only use a cheap webcam)....also the robbon is on a bit of an angle which I didn't notice when I took the pic...
