7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Coil. (A painting i did for my boyfriend. Contains female nudity. NWS.) on: November 17, 2006 04:05:51 AM
This makes my silly anaversary painting for my girlfriend make me sad Sad

Sad Don't be sad! Everyones work is different.
Mine's no 'better' than anyone elses, just different.
If it's for your gf, and you put effort and love into it, then anything anyone else painted for you, on your behalf wouldn't mean half as much to her. (If that makes sense!)
I know i'd rather have my loved ones make me things if they can, than buy arty things from someone else!  Smiley

you painted the breasts in such detail, why did you leave the vulva "blank"

Good point. i just think i didn't want the genital area to be a main focal point. Everyone sees breasts every day, what with advertising and tv and such. I just thought to be detailed in this area might be a bit off-putting. Smiley

I really like this painting! You really show a mastery of skill. How long have been painting?

Aw, thank you. I really don't think i show a mastery of skill! But thanks!
I've been painting for as long as i can remember, and i'm 30 next month.
