1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Fingerless Glove[s]!!!! + pictures on: November 16, 2007 06:19:11 PM

While I was stalling to read Lord of the Flies for school, I decided fingerless gloves would be nice to make. I couldn't really find a pattern I liked since one I had used for a present for a friend, which i don't remember at all.

So! I just winged it! Which absolutely terrified me. But I took some measurements and poof! I had started knitting. I messed up really bad when I got to my hand and I didn't figure it out until I was almost done and I'm not anal enough to frog it now. :[
I haven't made the second one yet because my size 6 dpns were occupied with a friend's gift hat right after I finished the first one. I gave the hat to her on Friday so I forgot to take pictures.

OH. And also, my dad got me the yarn at a garage sale so if you like the color, I'm sorry I can't tell you what it is. I like the color too so if someone finds out please tell me...
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Slytherin Scarf + Camera cozy :] on: August 11, 2007 10:03:05 PM
Yay! These were both knit a looong time ago [Camera case in May, which I guess isnt that long ago. Scarf finished mid December to late December, I'm not entirely sure.]

I loooooove the scarf soo much. It's so warm and toasty in the winter. Id overheat in January sometimes because of the scarf! Then I'd give it to a freezing friend and be like "NEVERMIND GIVEITBACK"

Anyways, here are some pitchas!

Scarf[being worn!]

It's knit in the style of the newer movies but I made the fringe in the style of the first movies. I dont really like the short fringe that much. I have no idea how long it actually is but when both sides are exactly alligned the fringes reach my ankles and the scarf itself reaches my calves so I wrap it around my neck two or three times at school. I'm 5 feet tall. So yeah. Maybe 8 feet long? Shocked

And my camera case! The yarn is almost as bright as it looks in the picture, haha. I just knit one long strip then seamed up the sides.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Punk Rock Backpack-Keroppi? on: August 08, 2007 09:21:29 PM
New to craftster. :]

I knit this a month or two back from the Punk Rock backpack pattern from the SnB book but made a Keroppi chart with paint and knitters graph paper. Its on th edge because i wasnt really paying attention when i made the chart...

Its my first attempt at colorwork I guess it turned out well sort of. Not really. It's puckered and there were holes in the color changes which i just sewed closed. I havent lined it, I don't think I will. I dont know how to line it.... I'll just put velcro or something to close it...

Me + Bored with Paint shop Pro = this photo.

You can kinda see my WiP Slytherin scarf on the floor. A gift for a friend. My scarf is on the bed too. Hahaa
