I sent to igobylorib a while ago and she received, but is having trouble uploading pics from her camera so I am posting some for her.  I claimed her for something having to do with birds and something for her daughter's American Girl doll, Lucy.  For the doll, I made a green satin dress, three pairs of slippers including one pair that matches the dress, a crocheted hat, a croceted purse/bag, and a reversible head scarf.  For igobylorib, I made a hand-stitched, felt bird pin and a notecard with a blue jay on it.  I hope she can post some action pics of the items with the doll when her camera is cooperating.  Here is everything together.

Here is a close-up of all the tiny slippers in a row since they are kind of cute.

Thank you ladies.  There are a couple of squares from each of these that I absolutely adore and all of them will get used!

Speaking of poerava, here is a picture of her wonderful handiwork!  She made me knitted mary jane slippers.  They are the most perfect colors and they fit just right.  They are coming in very handy since winter hasn't decided to leave us just yet.  Thank you so much poerava and happy belated birthday! 15  Hedgehog Eye Mask in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by critterpants on: March 04, 2008 04:38:50 PM
I made this eye mask recently for a swap.  It was inspired by a mask made by Ity-bity bags on Etsy.  I traced an eye mask I had at home to make a pattern then hand-appliqued the hedgehog and mushroom on the top layer before sewing all the layers together and binding them with bias tape.  This was the first time I had ever used bias tape and it took much longer to sew on than I thought it would.  All sewing on this was done by hand.  Enjoy!

Here is a pic of the front:

Here is a shot of the back:

I received from poyupop on Monday, but am just now getting a chance to post pictures.  Here is a pic of me first opening the box:

Inside were the most wonderful things.  She sent me a reversible apron with forest appliques in a paper-covered box, a pincusion box with two cute pins, some buttons, a set of embroidered coasters, a beautiful bird card, a zippered pouch with snail fabric, ginger candy, and a bunch of other hard candies I haven't gotten a chance to try yet.  Here is a pic of everything together:

Now, detail pics:
Here is the zippered pouch with snail fabric.  It is so cute.  The snail looks so cheerful!

Here is the little box with pincushion inside.  It will come in so handy because you can shut the lid when you aren't using it.  That way the pins aren't shooting out everywhere.  I think I will be taking this with me when I travel to my crafting group.

Inside the pincushion box are a squirrel and a deer pin.  Too precious.

Next, are four little buttons.

Poyupop made me a reversible apron that is so nice.  It must have taken so much work.  I am afraid to wear it in the kitchen because it might get dirty.  I will have to just wear it around the house for awhile first. Wink  Here is the first side:

and the other side (with my cat insisting on being at least partially displayed in the gallery):

Here are details of the applique and embroidery on each side.  Note the little bird in the tree one.

My favorite thing in the whole package is this set of embroidered coasters!  They are so soft and I love the silhouettes!  Each one is so lovingly made.  Notice the tiniest little spots on the deer one. Cheesy

As you can see, I had an amazing partner in poyupop.  Thanks for everything!

I received from seaofstars last week and am just now getting around to posting pics.  Here is the unopened package.

She sent me a zipper pouch with the cutest owl fabric.  I loved it the moment I saw it.  When I opened the pouch I found she had included a bundle of fabric inside that had some of that same fabric in it!  There was also another owl fabric (that I have already used in a project) and some other cute ones.  I will have to get a pic of all the fabrics untied from the bundle.  She also sent some colorful buttons and two rolls of fabric ribbon.  Thanks for everything, seaofstars!  Here is a pic of everything together.

I received from lapoli a few days ago.  She claimed me for a shrinky dink kit and included instructions (these seem to be complete and reasonable.  Thank you for good instructions!), markers, two kinds of shrinky dink paper (do you call it paper?), and an "emergency clean up kit."   Here is the whole kit together:

Here are the two kinds of shrinky dink.  She sent some white and some frosted ones:

Here is the cutest "emergency clean up kit."  It has Q-tips to use to wipe off any misplaced marker marks before I bake the shrinky dinks in case I make a mistake!

Thank you so much.  I can't wait to try something new with these!  I remember doing shrinky dinks as a kid, but haven't had any contact with them for probably 15 years.  Yipee!

I received from octipii a few days ago and have been slow about getting pictures up.  She claimed me for a wisty surprise and sent me an awesome shirt with an owl on it and the cutest little tote bag!  Here is the shirt draped over a chair since I couldn't get any action shots yet:

Here is the cute tote with a design straight from my wist!  It is the perfect size for carrying a small project around and I have been using it since the minute I opened the package.  It is currently filled with a project I am working on for the Forest Friends swap!

Here is my kitty thinking the bag will be a great new place to hang out.  She is so silly.

octipii are these stenciled or painted freehand?  You did such a great job.  Thanks so much.  This was a great package to get!

I received from oneredboot a few days ago.  She sent me a Sublime Stitching tiki pattern and some amazing vintage buttons!  Here are pics:

There are a couple of buttons that are an inch or more across.  I am going to hopefully make a couple of bags and use them for the closures!  I have never used the buttonhole making part of my sewing machine so maybe this would be a good opportunity!  Thanks so much oneredboot.
