Finally finished! (Maybe. I still have time to put together a thing or two. Wink)  I tried a few new things and I think they turned out pretty cool. My kids saw one project and had to learn how to make one for themselves. Now our house is covered with ____________s.

Today: wrap and photograph.
Tomorrow: send!
The next day: make/finish doubles of a few of the items for myself.

I'm super interested in what this is, as well as the one aisy talked about her BF wanted. These are always so intriguing!

Uh-oh. I was innocently meandering along pinning this and that pretty little thing when I fell down a rabbit hole from which I may never, ever emerge. I think I've found the thing I will be spending the rest of my crafting time doing...

Won't you join me?

Questionnaire sent! I hardly listed anything, hoping my partner sees it as 'anything goes' type plethora, rather than just a vacuum Cheesy

Yeah, so this is really interesting, noodle-bug. I like the clear statement of 'hey, I'm deliberately not expounding!'  I'm gonna use this...

I'm definitely up for this swap, but want to finish up my open package first before shifting gears. Very excited about this swap! Yay!

The Book of Explaining cracks me up. I love that stinkin thing! Utterly brilliant!

Just have one last item to finish. Will ship on time.

Yay! Now that the end is finally here I'm so excited to see what everyone has crafted!

Uuuuuggghhhhhhh CRAFTYLITTLEMONKEY!

Every.bit. of my crazy loves this project! EVERY.BIT. It's so haphazard and chaotic, but layered and intense.

Yeah. I dig this like a gopher in a garden. And I can see where Sweetpea gets her eye.

Your scrap pile makes me want to stop donating, and hoard every bit of fabric possible.Totes saving this for me to try after my swap is finished.

I love the pattern on pattern! Very well done.

I hope she remembers her first commission for a long time.

Hummm. So I did some quick recon, and I guess, technically what we're doing is slow cloth, vs boro. Boro is much more necessary, functional,  and need driven - intending the cloth to be worn and/or used for all future generations. While slow cloth is more about intention, thoughfulness, and usefulness, but generally more focused on meditative stitchwork for pleasure.

Regardless, both concepts are interesting. And produces such lovely pieces!  I'm super excited for this swap! Yay!

Looks good!  Would prefer an extra week to craft, so my vote is for sendout on 10/31  Smiley

Finishing up final drying items so they're completely set prior to shipping. Apparently my understanding of 'cherry red' is vastly different than the paint company. But I'm going to wait until it's dry, in natural light, and maybe hit it with a second layer, before I complete my eyeroll. But trust me, it's on the cusp!

Otherwise, all is well. Finished one project. Tanked another...and then felt foolish for thinking it would work in the first place. It was an impulsive idea, and I didn't think it through well. The material behaved just as I have experienced in the past, I just thought with it being significantly thicker, it would work. *deflates balloon*

I cannot wrap my brain around the size of those felted creatures. It's so rare to see one even 6-8 inches!

And to see how stinkin cute they are, too? Ahhhh, PerfectlyBohemian, you are PERFECTLY talented!
