Well, craftster has a Jordy Bag, so felt monsters can be NinaMonsters, right?
This is my first post after, um, a year and a half of reading.
I made a NinaMonster for my friend Lisa for her birthday. Mine got kind of fancy, since I have piles of beads and notions. I made it with extra-long arms with the idea that it would have them curled into hands, but they ended up making it poseable. The wings were made by top-stitching two pices of felt held together, then pinking the lower layer, and trimming the upper close to the stitching. I sewed them on by carefully picking up a bit of felt on the body, then making a stitch on the topstitching on the wing.

And detail of the face. The lines are embroidered on with floss in a straight stitch. The eyes are felt with red glass beads, the nose is a large red glass bead.
