1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Transfer onto Leather/Leatherette? on: July 21, 2010 04:26:29 PM
Was just wondering whether the transfer would apply to leather/leatherette - I have never done a transfer before but am hoping to make a case for my ipod with the theme of Stephen King's Dark Tower seeing as it's my obsession xD Also, any advice on what brands to use? Thanks for helping a newbie, guys  Wink
2  COOKING / Dessert / Gurren Lagann Cake :D on: February 14, 2010 04:47:43 PM
So, it was my boyfriend's 18th recently, and considering he loves all anime, I thought i'd give this a stab.

(I didn't make the little figures, sadly  Tongue )

Am quite nervous about posting on this board as there are so many talented bakers on here, but it's the first time I've made a cake that *didn't* turn out as a giant cookie accidently xD

Also, was royally ticked off by the sticky icing for the insignia, was determined to turn it the right red, and consequently had red food-colouring stained hands for days  Grin

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Well it's not really decorating... on: June 25, 2008 11:14:12 AM
To call it interior decorating is A LITTLE farfetched, but I just wantedto share this with you, because it makes me really happy when I wake up everyday:

I defy anyone who doesn't love that advert! ( And I didn't make this, although I wish like hell I did)
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Altoids Ipod case on: June 25, 2008 11:08:20 AM
Before I start, i'd liketo say that i'm sure i've seen this done before, most likely on here, but I can't find it when I search for it. If you think it was your project that inspired this then I'd be more than happy to give you credit.

Anyway, here's my new ipod case: The new nano 3rd generations fit almost perfectly, if not a little too snug. If you give it a try, I recommend using really thin felt  Wink

Thanks for looking!
