I haven't been very active lately! One of my new year resolutions! I don't have a digital camera, but I've been home over break and my parents do. So here's a few of the things I've made over break (rather, the things I remembered to photograph before giving them away).

First time using a pattern. These and the mittens were made for my newborn baby nephew.

I also kind-of-sort-of knit Foliage (from knitty), but the Alpaca yarn doesn't really show the texture well, and I blocked it on a dinner plate which gave it a beret-like shape? I gave it to my mom though, and she loves it.


It was such a learning project. I've never touched anything like lace, but I've just cast on for Liesel!
It's kind of cool because I'm just now starting to understand simple lace and it's awesommmmeeee. So much fun!

I think it's really cute and looks great with your hair (I'm going through a little hair jealousy - the thickness! The colour!). I just love how it wraps around you.

Well, it really brightened MY day hahah. I feel your pain, though. I think you did a great job to correct it.

I love it and would kill for it (well, perhaps not KILL, but you get the picture ). Don't sell it! Wear it 'til it falls apart. Great job.

Those are so neatly done! I finished my first pair of socks yesterday (well, tonight) and they don't look anything like yours Good job!

haha, I was very impressived with the banana-hanging-thing. I've never seen that before... *goes on topic* I love the the colour you've used, your kitchen looks so warm and friendly now!

I'm not sure what to do with that exact motif, but my mom has made a lot of roundish ones and we have them on our Christmas tree!
