It's a simple drop stitch pattern - it is rather monotonous - I won't lie - but the end result is SOO worth it.
It could have taken me a month to probably make it, but I only worked on it once a week during my knit group gatherings - therefore it took almost 3 months - not to mention i was working on a pair of socks too.
I abosultely love the way it turned out, and its perfect for both fall days and spring days like we've been having here on cool mornings and evenings too and from work. not to mention perfect for my air-conditioned office in the summer. I'm thinking of casting on another one to work on during the summer.
I just realized I never posted any real details about it, here they are in case anyone is interested.
yarn: Colinette Jitterbug - 2 skeins
needles: US size 7's
Size: made to fit me, I think i did one less repeat of the increase rows, and i'm not sure how many more of the straight rows - enought that the shall/scarf is as tall as me (approx. 5 feet)
