1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: {7} Bird Drawing, Painting, Collage Things on: August 17, 2007 06:28:22 AM
Thanks, guys! I am glad you like them. I feel like a lot of them are missing something, but I haven't figured out what.
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Typography Collages on: August 17, 2007 06:26:30 AM
Here are a couple of collages that I recently made. I am a typophile, so when I saw s.tudyk_gridworks, I knew I had to try it for myself.

I'm thinking that these would look good with thickish white frames...
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Handicrafted silver jade ring on: August 10, 2007 07:31:15 AM
I'd love to try my hand at making something like this. Is this made out of clay or metal?

Awww, look at the iguanas all stacked on top of each other! They are so cute. The greens are gorgeous.

BIRDS! Somebody help, I can't seem to stop drawing them. A lot of the birds were drawn on handmade paper. To see larger sizes, visit my flickr account.

These are great pictures. May I ask what you mean by "lomo-ized"? It's probably something really obvious, but my brain has opted to quit functioning for the night, so bear with me.
7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Visual Journaling on: August 09, 2007 08:08:33 PM
These are really nice. I like the cleanliness of the first one (it is an interesting combination of images, as well) and the build-up of layers in the second one. Is your journal a sketchbook with blank pages or is it an old book?

I then made a registration table out of laminate covered plywood (This is the single most important part of my set-up!)

Just wondering - is there a specific reason for laminating the plywood?
9  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Godzilla block prints on: August 08, 2007 07:53:35 AM
I enjoy the contrast between the solid Godzilla shape and the intricacy of the vegetation in the background. I agree with you on the gold frame. It's the only way to go.
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Typographic Pop Up Book on: August 08, 2007 07:47:30 AM
I'm a design student too, except on the other side of the US. The little details are great and the actual book jacket designs are really nice. Is there anywhere we can go to see more of the inside design?
