1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Little Green Coin purse on: May 12, 2010 08:31:19 AM
Thank you everyone.

Gorgeous job, I love snap purse frames, do you mind me asking where you got hold of teeny tiny ones? Would love to rustle up a few of these for xmas gifts (yep I start early  Grin)

I'm in Singapore and I bought them at a Japanese store, 'Diaso'.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Little Green Coin purse on: May 11, 2010 03:28:10 AM
I had a few of the mini purse frames and wanted make them into fabric coin purses.  However, I realised that my fabric stash is not as kawaii as many I had seen online so was a bit aprrehensive to try.

Then I chanced upon this blog ... http://studiowonjun.blogspot.com/2009/08/dough-in-pot-crochet-coin-purse.html
Although I could not find any patterns for it.
I thought I just give it a try using whatever knowledge of crochet I have to produce my llittle version

The kiddos at home think it is sute enough.  And I am now making more as gifts for their teachers.

Thanks for looking.

3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Re: Getting Started With Polymer Clay (Check here before asking questions) on: December 26, 2009 05:28:02 AM
Hi,

I started playing with polymer just a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it.
I had made my stuffs into magnets and now attempting to make them into charms by pushing the eyepin in and bake them
However, my eyepin can be pulled out?  It doesn't stay in finished, baked product.
I checked so many tutorials on making charms and they used the same eyepins... and push it in ...

So where could I have gonge wrong?

Please help...

thank u very very much

I made these last week to give two little girls.

However, I think the straps were a little too long Smiley

Thanks for looking

It has been a long time since I posted anything in this forum and really miss coming in and seeing all the fun and lovely stuffs.

I had been doing some crocheting ...

starting with something simple...

Piggy handphone dangle

This is my first prototype and my husband that the poor thing is dead  Embarrassed

This is the better version (i think... cos hubby seems to like it and my 2 dds had been playing with the third and fourth one that I had made.)

Crochet bags...

Please let me know what you think.
Thanks a lot Smiley

My dd#2 is down with HFMD and we are quarantined at home for a week.
Yesterday was the first full day at home and I was going crazy.
Although being at home, I should be able to do all my crafts but the baby is kind of cranky and needs my attention quite a lot.  So I was watching TV and surfing the web and crying my heart out cos I was bored.
But I finally found something I could do that is easy, rather mindless, no need for a whole lot of attention and yet still cute enough.

please let me know what u think about it.
thanks
