Very pretty socks.  They still scare me to try.
Very pretty little girl....they certainly scare me  Wink

I apologize to asphaltqueen for taking so long getting pictures up.  I had to go out of town for a memorial service.  I love my package.  She sent me a swap journal full of pages for me to record anything and everything about a swap.  She covered it in one of her own photos.  She sent another black and white photo (I'm starting a collection for my dinning room wall), tons and tons of eyes and noses for crochet animals, and a very pretty watercolor.  I'm sorry for the pitiful pictures, my camera is packed away and apparently my isight is all smudged.

Oh, in the background of this one is Nofury's quilling (personal swap) in progress!!!

83  Re: new cabinet...from plain to citrus-y! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by summertimerolls on: March 27, 2008 07:07:13 PM
I've had that same cabinet for almost 10 years.  I think that it was the first thing my husband and I bought and we've just kept moving it.  I finally put it in my daughters room...and I did this

...then I moved it to my craft room and I got so many compliments on the pictures that I just have kept them there.  I love seeing someone else decorate up the cabinet!

Rain,
I'm so glad you like your swap items.  The beaver I totally made up because you just can't find a beaver pattern anywhere.  And your right, the fish looks a little too happy since he's actually dinner.  I don't have a picture of the magnets, but I do have a bit better picture of the beaver.

If anyone wants marble magnets, I love making them...add em' to your list!

Everyone has made such cute stuff, but prepare to be amazed!  My partner, Kitty98626 is the best.  She sent me two dolls about 8-9 inches tall...a boy and girl.

Thank you so much, I love them!

87  keeping squirrels warm in Crochet: Completed Projects by summertimerolls on: March 15, 2008 05:15:55 PM
My 11 yo niece is OBSESSED with squirrels.  Ever since she was 4 or 5 she has had these five beanie baby squirrels.  Seriously, I think she is convinced they are real.  For Christmas I made her a bunch of squirrel related 'things', one was a set of hats and scarves for her babies.

hey...I received my package from missmuffcake today.  She picked me for two pot holders (knitted) and an ATC.  She delivered!

Thanks so much.  I will use my pot holders to protect my counter that I tend to burn.  Also, this is my first ATC!

oh, sorry that the pic. is reversed.  Apparently photo booth does that.

Nice stuff so far ladies.  I could find some use for that yarn! and the picture is so cool.

I received crochet stitch markers from Nofury!  They are so cool.  She personalized them with Summertimerolls, and the beads are really pretty.  I'm sorry if you can't see that well in the picture.  I will try these markers out tonight...sure will beat the safety pin I've been using!!!  She also made a matching set of earrings, which my daughter promptly said, "I know you can't wear these mom, it's okay I'll take em'"  Nice of her.  Then Nofury also sent an outfit for my daughter as a surprise, which again, quickly disappeared into her room.  I don't have a picture b/c I swore if I stepped foot in her room with it as messy as it is, I would throw everything away.  Yep, I'm a hardcore momma.  I heard her singing and dancing, so I'm sure she was wearing her new skirt.

Thanks so much!!!

90  Gnevan the drunken Gnome in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by summertimerolls on: March 07, 2008 06:03:24 AM
I made these for a OWS swap.  They were so fun to make and the person who received them seemed to like them a lot.  My idea was to have one gnome and show him 3 different times...before the wine, enjoying the wine, and after the wine.  I used little flower pots that are about 1.5".  The Gnomes were sculpted using white Sculpey and then painted and sealed.

I hope you enjoy!
