1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Make it fit! on: August 18, 2007 08:01:48 AM
Have you ever been in your favorite boutique and found a skirt that you absolutely to die for love?  And the sad part is it don't come in your size.   Embarrassed  WELL - I figured out a way to make it fit.  I found this adorable flirty skirt in a resale shop (brand new with tags still on) that someone tossed.  I too a pair of jeans in my size, dismantled the skirt and the jeans and reconstructed both into this cute skirt that I can wear!!  I'll probably wear it to death - but when I do, I'll just reconstruct another one.  The edges are a little raw, but I'm still working on it.   There was a catch - a few of my friends saw this one and now they want me to make one for them - out of their jeans!
