I'm not a fan of bugs, I actually quite dislike em (especially bc I grew up by the Amazon and there are GINORMOUS ones there) but they look so darn great in your pendants!! I can't even image the effort you put into it to make them look so perfectly placed.  Awesome job!

If you are looking to make more of these pendants, I suggest you get some from the jungles in Bolivia.  They are very colorful insects. (they were a nightmare for me, but you seem to like their type Smiley)
5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Freezer paper? on: September 07, 2007 01:51:36 AM
Woops, I got to this thread a little bit late..

I posted up a link to a tutorial on making your own freezer paper some time ago, and yeah, it was kinda tedious to make it (for two reasons mostly - one, if the bag touches the iron you better open the windows bc it stinks! and two - sometimes the bag separates from the paper or theres a bubble and you have to redo it with a new bag).

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=191467.0

I would recommend this technique only for people who truly don't have freezer paper available to them, like myself!

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / What is the standard price of beads? on: September 04, 2007 05:14:41 PM
Yesterday I discovered a craft store not too far from where I live in Israel.  I went inside and started looking around but the prices seemed exaggeratedly high.  They were charging about 6 shekels PER bead, which is about $1.45.  This is the price PER little bead!!!  Call me crazy but I felt it was waaay overpriced.

So I wanted to ask Craftsters: what is the standard price of beads where you're from?
10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: very cheap, kinda small glow-in-the-dark plastic vampire teeth? on: September 04, 2007 04:50:00 PM
I don't see the shape of the empty part too clearly, but maybe you can fit them on the bottom of glasses? It could look really neat.

Or maybe you could make them into 3D coasters that could hold cups/glasses.
