After a lot of stress from not finding any freezer paper my sister and I finally figured out how to create our own by ironing regular paper to plastic bags! We were super excited about the discovery.
It's not ideal, and it actually be quite annoying at times. The bag unsticks from parts of the paper a lot (especially when cutting out parts of the stencil), melts under the iron which can get really stinky, and sometimes unglues from the shirt.. but all in all, it does the job!

And now, ta-da! The hours of work and devotation and my first ever stenciling project:
The mouse was my trial stencil... I made it on an old piece of cloth because I didn't think it would work. To our surprise it did, and it actually came out very cute! I painted the face on later by using another stencil. (Excuse the dirty stains please, it's the consequence of using an old, old piece of cloth
)
This is a seahorse my ten year old sister drew and painted on the cloth. It came out quite cute!
Two shirts I made for my sister... sorry for the bad pictures, the color and texture of the shirts and the paint did not agree with the camera. My sis didn't like the stencil look and made me paint in the empty areas, but she loved the shirts. She has been wearing them around with pride.
We took this image from a beautiful stencil drawn by scatterkincaid. It's shown on this thread:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=188872.0 . My sister absolutely loved the guitar and wanted one on her orange shirt. (She's a rockstar, you see...) By this point I had gotten a lot better with the stenciling and I'm really proud of the way this one came out. The picture lost a lot of the definition on the guitar, in reality it came out so exact!

This one I made for my boyfriend's birthday. He is absolutely obsessed with harmonicas but never had a shirt about them. So I thought it would be a perfect gift, and I was right: he loved it! I accidentally dropped the paintbrush twice and made two smudges which I tried to fix with no avail... I used three different stencils to make each image, and then had to use a needle and toothpicks to fix each and every one of them because my homemade freezer paper was not agreeing with me. But the pics make them look kinda messy and unexact, which they weren't
(Excuse my bedsheets please, I should have made my bed better before taking pics!)

Sunday was the very last Israel Baseball League game, so I made a shirt for my boyfriend supporting his team the Blue Sox. (and yay, they won the championship!!!) My sister and I had quite a laugh with the design when I made it look like the baseball player had hit the team's sock logo instead of a ball. Unfortunately the pic came out kinda blurrish and unexact so it's hard to see the precision of the stenciled images. Aside from his excitment and pride to wear my shirt and especially since the team won the championship, after the game one of the Blue Sox players came up to my boyfriend and asked him where he bought the shirt because he wanted one too!!! So now I am making a similar shirt for one of the players
