1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Night & Day on: January 24, 2010 10:54:17 PM
My shrine was based on the song Night & Day sung by Frank Sinatra. I originally wanted to use a glass moon that I have as part of the surprise, so I was looking for a quote about moons & love. This song popped up as part of the search and because of the way this box is made I thought it would be the perfect thing. Turned out that the moon wouldn't fit, but I like the way this turned out anyway.  Smiley

It hangs on the wall... all the metal pieces were different metals so I colored them with a bronze metallic sharpie... it blended them all together a little better

the back... these are part of the lyrics for the song

the drawer pulled out... I guess there a a few surprises with this shrine- the color of the inside is different than the outside...it was made with two small matchboxes,  the insides of the outer part of the box were cut off and I taped the pieces together... the inside drawers were glued together. It measures at just under 2X3 inches without the dangling charms. and then there's my frame inside

the inside of the drawer and back view of drawer

I made the frame inside, it will hold a 1 inch picture and will stand up on it's own..
the picture will slide in from the top... I don't have a picture to put in there so I just wrote the word Love on a scrap of paper and used it

Everything all together...

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / A woman... Warning Vintage Nudity on: April 08, 2009 08:45:18 PM
Here's my entry to the challenge. I've started an ATC with this quote, but I wanted to make a chunky page as I had several ideas for it. And it will work with my chunky book when I get enough pages to bind them...

The quote is by Marilyn Monroe " I'm very definitely a woman and I enjoy it."

The front...

It's a painted cardboard background with vintage image, paper lace, a paper rose, feather and Swarovski crystals. You can see more detail in the 1st photo, but the color is closer to the second one.

a more detailed look at the feather and rose
and a side view, those feathers like to move around.

The back of the page with more paper lace and a rose sticker that I embossed with a glazing pen. The color is better in this photo than the next one. I'm not sure why this came out so small.

and a closer look at the rose on the back

Sorry about the photos, the page isn't that crooked, but I just can't get one to come out straight without scanning it. This wouldn't scan well.
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Happy Halloween on: October 06, 2007 10:48:42 AM
Here's my entry

I was trying for something a little spookier, but I noticed that almost all vintage Halloween stuff is not very scary. My printer was acting up so I added color with watercolor pencils, sakura black glaze pen and sharpies. The witch was cut out and glued to the background page.

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Panthermoon's ATC Gallery **New** ATCS 3-18-10 on: September 06, 2007 11:13:26 PM
I sat down today to start on more cards for one of the 100 theme lists.

However, this is what happened instead. I had to condense down all my cd's into cd wallets, I don't have the room in my new apartment that I used to have in the old one.... so I had all these inserts I couldn't throw away... if they don't have pictures they have words/ song titles that I might be able to use elsewhere....

anyway so I decided to start my own gallery for whatever doesn't fit the theme thread

#1 Favorite Artist 100 music theme-not available for trade

#4 Country 100 Music theme not for trade

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Love and Laughter on: August 23, 2007 12:54:28 PM
I've used this quote before in my collage journal only then I used my actual handprints, couldn't do that here:

"All you need in the world is love and laughter. That's all anybody needs. To have love in one hand and laughter in the other."

and to go with it:

"Happines is a ball after which we run wherever it rolls, and we push it with our feet when it stops."
There's chalk on the background and it makes some of the letters look smudged wherever the blue chalk is next to the letters. I wish my handwriting was better.

I had one of these partially started and then the challenge came up so I thought I'd enter these...

I'm not sure how to resize these so sorry about the size. The pictures are packing tape transfers.
