1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Plaid Hoodie on: June 24, 2008 10:17:18 AM
I was totally inspired by a hoodie that I saw on the Urban Outfitters website and I decided that I had to run to Joann's to buy a cool plaid fabric to make one for myself.
The fabric was like 8.00/yard, but you can never go wrong with a 40% off coupon  Grin

It's about 90% done and I am soo excited to wear it!
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Placemat MacBook Sleeve (6 pics) on: September 19, 2007 03:38:30 PM
I went to my local thrift store and found a pair of awesome placemats.

I leave for college in a few days and I really don't want to scratch up my new laptop.

I sewed the top and bottom and one side and I added buttons to the open side.

Tadaa! (after about 20 minutes of work)

Thanks for looking!
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Quilt Duvet for New College Student on: August 25, 2007 10:01:35 PM
My very attempt to post (I hope this works)

Well I start the college life in 29 (or so) days and I have a unique quilted duvet for my dorm  Grin.

It took me around 2 months to make the 5x5 inch squares for the 62x92 inch Twin XL down comforter.

The bottom *not shown (sorry), is a navy colored cotton  Cheesy
