My name is going to be Handmade PB&J.  (Meaning purses, bags, and jewelry).  Here is what I have so far that I made in my photo editing program.  I'd like to add some bracelets and purses to the PB&J ppl's arms, lol.  And obviously text, but I can do that part on my own.  Also, before anyone puts too much thought into this, is this "logo" too juvenille?  I will be making some kids items but most of my items are for ladies.  Now I'm wondering if I should just do a picture of a purse and a necklace or something a little more "generic" yet "elegant"?  Thanks for looking and sharing your thoughts!

The first is a Dr. Suess bag I made for my son's teacher.  He's in first grade and made great strides in learning to read this year so I really wanted her gift to be a big thank you for teaching him to read.  Not to mention that he loves reading!  The outside is cotton and fusible fleece.  The name is heat transfer I cut out with my silhouette and ironed onto canvas.  I erased the last name for posting.  The inside is canvas with a pocket and pencil pocket.  I also appliqued a note/picture from my son inside.  It ties closed with the ribbon.  We gave it to her along with his favorite Dr. Suess book.

I also made this simple tote for my friend's daughter to give her teacher.  Wish I would've made this one differently so it held it's shape better but it's canvas so it'll still be sturdy.  Last names erased.

I finally got two teacher gifts finished!  Still need to do one more and make something for the bus driver before the end of next week.  Gotta quit procrastinating!  Anyway, here are the totes and snack bags.  The totes have fusible fleece for the insulation and are lined with a PEVA shower curtain.  I got a silhouette for mother's day  so I used that to make heat transfers with their initials.  The purple one looks better in person as far as the letter showing up.  It does blend more on the black on than I'd like but I was pressed for time so it had to do.    The snack bags are not insulated but are lined with PEVA.  Next time I will have to do something different.  The seam allowance made a little more "bulk" than I'd prefer.  Guess I should've trimmed them more.  But they're ok and look super cute with the lunch bags.  These teachers got theirs today and both loved them!  Thanks for looking!

For the last couple of weeks I've been working on buttercup bags for the first time.  I love this pattern!  (Well now I do thanks to CraftyChef for helping me figure out a few parts).  Anyway, here is the first one I made.  No interfacing, no pockets, nothing fancy.  It was for a 6 year old.  Excuse the cruddy pictures.  I had to take them hurriedly before giving it as a gift.

This is my second one, just for me.  I interfaced this one and put a regular pocket and a zippered pocket inside.  I love how much sturdier it is with interfacing but wow, it makes a big difference in putting it together.  A little more challenging!

This one was a gift for my mom.  I enlarged it by 115% and it was the perfect size.  The original size is a bit small for us.  I interfaced this one too and added a zipper and zippered pocket.  Again, quick pictures, sorry for the quality.

I had a baby shower to go to this past weekend and made lots of goodies for the mom-to-be and her new daughter.  I'm really proud of the bag.  I've never made a bag that wasn't just basically an unlined square so I'm happy with how this turned out!  (Please ignore all the junk around the items in the pics.  I took these right before I left for the shower and was running late so I didn't take time to clean up first.)

This is my first post on the desserts board!   I seem to be missing some pics of some bdays but that's ok.  I have plenty to share without them.
