I love the pairing of the image with the patterned fabric.  It is beautiful!

That chair looks great and comfortable!

What a great fabric!  I love the font in it.  I have a lot of fabric waiting for "the perfect project" too.  I have started making clothes for my friend's almost 3 year old.  Aren't kids clothes faster to make?  I would also suggest (if you could part with it) donating it to a battered women and family shelter.  Great job using a super awesome fabric!

Then, I printed out my final image on printable fabric (love that stuff) and proceeded to embroider on top of the image.

What a smart idea!  I like it!

He is super cute even though I thought he was a yak.  I am partial to stripy things.  Excellent job!

I was wondering if the insul-bright has a proper side??? One seems shinier than the other.. Should it go shiny side in or shiny out???

Thanks for the great project!

The shiny side faces inward.

I just made this for a friend's 5 year old kid.   I made it with vinyl inside and The Land Before Time on the outside.  I ended up binding the top seam since I couldn't iron the vinyl.  But I have to say the bag is a bit bulky on top for a little kid to carry.  I don't know if it is because of the vinyl verses an all cotton bag.  Has anyone else has this problem?  Overall REALLY easy to make.
