Wow that is most excellent!  Great job on a first outing with beads!

As for keeping the thread under control, probably a good idea.  OTOH it's harder to follow new additions if people are continually editing old posts and it is possible to view the thread as pictures only...although that shuts out the people who are posting links to posts elsewhere...i dunno.  I'm too new to know the best way to go about it but I'll go along with whatever is the most workable.

Thanks for the advice!  I was having a really hard time with the wire!  I've made a few bits today using beading thread and things went significantly better.  Only problem is that I have to use wire for standy up stuffs like the pendant.  Any advice on keeping the wire under control?

Here's another of mine for week 3! (market bag tutorial still forthcoming!)
Beaded pendant.  I've never beaded any jewelry before this bit, so be kind!

Other than sewing/crocheting beads into my projects, I've never made any beaded jewelry.  I just got new beads and wire, so I thought I'd give it a try.  Comments/tips greatly appreciated. Smiley  Thanks!

I really like that bag.  Did you have a pattern?

I'm terrible about making patterns, but this guy was super easy, I'll whip up a tutorial for it!

ohh wow, I wish my sewing machine could do stitching like that! I like your bag Smiley

Thanks!  I'm loving to do the decorative stitching, Santa brought me my first machine that could make specialty stitches (and spoiled me with an automatic threader, lol) Smiley
