Great great jacket just wear it over a dress and it wont matter how long it is.
I think it looks good this way maybe you could even shorten it a little bit

Hey i just realized that ive forgotten to thank you for the tut and give you a link to the bag i made with it :   http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=105015;sa=showTopics

I did see your project on the board a while back.  I really love the green with the red and white gingham.  Especially that the lining is easy clean.  The buttons look fantastic too.  They really feature much more prominantly than a zipper.  Great job!!

Thanks so much Smiley i thought you migth've seen just realized that i was being kinda rude nit thanking you directly.
i like the zipper as well actually i just used the buttons cause I'm a bit frightened of zippers, but your right buttons are way decorative..

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / polkadotted makeupbag and a phonebag thingy on: August 03, 2007 06:39:53 AM
I haven't been anywhere near a sewing machine for years but i inherited my grandma's a little while back and finally got around to using it, offcourse i ended up getting really hooked on it. These are the first two things ive made. I wanted to start of with some easy stuff cause i wasn't sure how i would do, i think they turned out allright Smiley

I made the phonethingie by eye but for the makeup purse i used this tut: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=176509.0

Apparently I'm really into red buttons

The makeup purse is lined with that waxed stuff that people use for tablecloth so that any makeup spillage will be easy to remove.

by the way im completely new to this site and really happy i stumpled upon.. so hello and thanks for looking Smiley

that is just awesome... I think the texture of the fabric really tops of the modern house theme allthough it gives it a slight 60s feel (wich i like)
