11  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Books and Notebooks on: August 15, 2007 04:15:39 PM
I made these quite a while ago, but wanted to post them anyway. The two big ones are ordinary plastic notebooks I dressed up like hardback books to make class less...um..."class-like". The other two are single signature books.

I have a rock that holds sentimental value for me, so I want to make it into a ring. The problem is, I don't know if it's possible to drill a hole through it leangthwise. I've uploaded a bunch of pictures here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/10435651@N05/1131343068/in/set-72157601467937823/

If you don't think it's possible to drill a hole, do you have any alternative suggestions? I have very small fingers (6.5).

Well...it's almost a music theme. That's my question for you guys. I want to put the following graphic [a measure from the beginning of Monk's Epistrophy] on the front flap, but I haven't decided how to yet. I wanted to do it in felt, but I'm pretty sure you can't wash that. Ideas?  Huh



Most important is that I used the lovely  GrinKategirlsGrin tutorial for a zippered divider bag. A couple things were a bit confusing for me, but I figured them out.

I made one of these almost every year for three years. The fourth [the gold one] is one I made for my mother. Our puppy chewed it up, though.  Sad I put decorative paper between vinyl and sewed. Vinyl, as we all know, sucks to sew, but it was totally worth it. There used to be a picture in the middle of the wallets [on the front], but I took them out to save them in a separate book. They were those pictures you take for $2 in those old photo-booths.
