Fabity Fab! These are so cool, and if I thought I could replicate them they would be making an appearance in my kitchen! Very very nice!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: I'm trying to be more Eco-Friendly on: August 06, 2007 06:54:23 AM
Genius! I may be making a few of these for my grandmother who goes through these like crazy, but who tells me to shut up when I suggest the environmental impact it is causing... Roll Eyes I could totally a knock out a few of these quickly, though I have to say that I am not brave enough to do any white!

Wow this is gorgey! And very hip. You did an excellent job - it looks very professional. Kudos! And I think I see one of these in my near future.... though I suspect I may cheat and use a bit of glue instead of sewing on all that ribbon. I admire your patience!
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Placemat window treatment on: July 28, 2007 07:27:19 PM
Ah! I love these! I have been looking for a cheap window treatment for my dorm window and I think I may have found one.... now I'll just have to find some cute placemats in my color scheme!
Thanks for the inspiration!

you could cut it open..... poke holes and then lace it up on the sides.... like.... corset style. Or using safety pins or something. You're rather limited if you don't sew...

He is cool and he reminds me of a friend.... is that a bad thing?
What book is hiding in the last picture?

(Oh and I much prefer your green!)

Um.... so you officially win the mom of the year award. Very cool. I would wear this (as a t-shirt just to clarify lol)

Very awesome!

And is weight an issue? I know you said you use acrylic, but I'm still curious about whether they are heavy or not. As in, so heavy that they fall out of your hair? Because this is possible - I still have nightmares from a young childhood incident that left me with a lovely bald spot.  Embarrassed Anyways. They are lovely regardless!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: New outfit for my little girl..b/w on: April 30, 2007 06:34:51 AM
Very cute! Do you think maybe you could make one in my size?  Wink

And your girl is a cutie! Good thing she is being kept well dressed!
