1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Making charms? on: December 20, 2008 05:30:06 AM
I'm sorry if this is a redundant question on this section of craftster (I very rarely venture over here...) but does anyone know of a method on how to make your own metal charms? Or, not necessarily metal, any information is helpful.

Thanks!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / New knitting books? on: September 10, 2008 05:59:51 AM
I feel like everytime I go to Barnes and Noble the same knitting books are sitting on the shelves for almost a year now. Are there any good new knitting books out?
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Straight Edge short jacket on: November 25, 2007 02:24:18 PM
It's been a while since I've completed a garment. As some of you may have noticed, my projects are generally punk themed, so I took the image from Teen Idles' "Minor Disturbance" and put it on the back of this -- but it doesn't necessarily have to do with the band, as hands with X's on them are easily identifiable with straight edge in general. I used Lion Brand's "Cotton Ease."

Thanks for looking!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Minor Threat bag on: October 27, 2007 06:50:57 PM
i made this a while back but never really finished it or took pictures. I've been a little mia from craftster, but here's my new favorite bag as of late:

Thanks for looking!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Black Flag "Slip It In" Vibrator Cozy on: September 20, 2007 07:56:29 PM
This is the one thing I said if I made it, i'd be taking it too far.

I guess I took it too far.

Original album artwork:

I tried to knit it in the round, but all of the intarsia for so few stitches became a total mess. Oh well.

Here's the entry in my blog with more pictures and what have you:

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / HOW do you stash all of your yarn!? on: September 12, 2007 07:45:32 PM
I just moved in with my boyfriend and 3 other people, so my boyfriend and I share a room. He complains my yarn is all over the place. I don't know what to do with it all! Advice?
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Descendents coffee cozy!? on: September 12, 2007 05:46:36 PM
I'm on a roll as of late...

I've seen a coffee cozy pattern in both the knitting and crocheting forums. So I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon (there is a corny pun hidden in that word somewhere...) and make one myself, but staying true to my theme of making them punk-band related.

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Capitol building pin cushion on: September 05, 2007 08:16:32 PM
As you may have noticed, I do a lot of hardcore punk related crafts. This time around was a capitol building pin cushion from the self titled Bad Brains record

ahhh a kitty trying to eat the pins!
10  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Punk Rock backpack on: August 09, 2007 06:58:19 AM
What's the best way to keep this backpack sturdy? I lined it and everything, but when I put stuff in it it just drastically droops down.
