Gorgeous.  I love how you got the floral to end at just the right place.

Did you consciously coordinate with your cousin or just luck?

Wow, I love your vision- to see the dress you made in the pattern.  I am a newbie at this sewing game and all the patterns look really blah to me.  I'm going to have to take another look!

It looks super warm and like it would be like walking around in a big cuddle all daya (does that make sense?)

Maybe toggle buttons like on a duffle coat would save you from having to crash diet? Wink

I'm impressed at making a jacket when it's 95 outside.  Just thinking about jackets in that weather is impressive!!

Wow!!

Gorgeous.  I love the collar.  Very elegaant and it looks like you wouldn't need a scarf with it either.

Oh, and you have a great brother, too!

Thanks!! No pattern actually.  I just copied the picture on the website.  I love mking box pleats so that's why that happened and I hate hemming so everything else is topstitched tubes. Smiley

Ooooh that is evil!  I think I'm regressing to how I felt after watching IT when I was 13.....

I love how the string (sorry I can't think of a better word for it) matches the card so well.  Which came first?
27  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Re: WOO HOO My very first official spinning project is FINALLY FINISHED!! on: August 23, 2007 05:07:23 PM
WOW!!  That looks fantastic!!  Be prepared for a lot of attention when you go out, hey? Wink

I can't believe you used KoolAid to dye it.  What does that say about our stomachs.  Shocked
28  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: tiptoe through tulips and another pair of socks (5 photos) on: August 22, 2007 04:35:21 AM
wow!  I love the tulips.  Hope your mum commits all sorts of fashion faux pas and wears them with sandals/ kitten heals/ flipflops etc so everyone can see the heals!!
29  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Korean Tol! (1st Birthday!) on: August 21, 2007 07:12:21 PM
Wow, so coulourful!  What's behind the m&ms?  Please tell me iT7s cake!!  M&m smothered cake- yum!!

OT first birthdays are big here in Japan too but my girls got fish and red bean rice.  I'm betting they'd swap for m&ms anyday!!

I love it!!

I'm afraid I would be a really anti-social guest though- probably spend all my time reading your walls!

You've inspired me.  My 3 and 1 yos love scribbling on paper (not really drawing yet)  I bet a wall full of their doodles would look good, too.
