1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: a very diy wedding on: December 26, 2007 10:21:32 PM
Oh my lord.

That is gorgeous!!

I love everything!!

The colours are amazing and the attention to detail is incredible!

I especially love the cupcake towers.

I know you said you'll never do it again and after two weddings (same guy- two countries) I swear I'm never getting married again but I may just have to head over to West Lafayette if I ever do feel the urge to be a bride again!!  Grin

I hope you found a great job that makes the most of your skills.

And Congratulations on your marriage.

I agree- great work!  And I love your fabric choice.

I haven't been game trying slippery lining yet- is it really like 'sewing snot'?
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Formal dress + HSC Textiles major on: December 11, 2007 03:16:08 AM
Congratulations!
Congratulations on finishing your HSC and congratulations on two formal frocks!
I love how different the dresses are but they have the roses in common.

Good luck with your future. Smiley

Remembering waaaaayyyyyy back when!

Wow.  I like them all especially the top.

Is that SNOW in the background?

Your sister must *really* love you to pose sleeveless in the snow!

I guess it just wouldn't look as cute over thermals though... Wink

Love the colours and love the shape!

Just looking at it makes me feel warm, let alone wearing it!

Wow.

Two bags- two completely different looks.

I LOVE the jacket holder flap.  You should patent it!

Jacket forgetters and jacket\bag\keys\coffee jugglers the world over would thank you!
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: New hats that I ADORE - but, I need your advice on: December 05, 2007 05:57:48 AM
I'm not a crochetter (??) so this is an uninformed opinion but I like the clean lines of the pompomless version.

I love both the colour schemes.

Do you think your daughter could be convinced to steal on consignment?  Tongue

Wow.
I thought it was gorgeous.
Then I saw the hearts and the squiggley pattern with them (sorry for the lame description!)
Now I'm in love!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bring in the clowns! on: December 02, 2007 03:56:06 AM
I'd wear them!!

Winter *needs* fun pjs!

Can I ask are they two part or 4 part pants?  I haven't ventured past 2 part pants yet and ermmm being rather endowed in the rear I find if I sit in them they pull down too far.  I'd love to know a remedy for this.

Cool pants.

looks fabulous!  And how lucky to have someone do it for you.

You must be a *serious* crafter though- choosing crafting over eating. Wink
