1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Random Assortment of Photos [Img heavy] on: October 23, 2008 05:37:29 PM
All the pictures are striaght off the camera which is a little surprising to me because I have a pretty cheap camera. I've got a fuji Finepix, cheap, functional and small. Like I said I'm not much of a photographer but I think if I had more money I might get into it.
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: A few acrylic paintings of Audrey Hepburn and others on: October 23, 2008 03:46:41 AM
Nice job! I really like the 1st one.
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Random Assortment of Photos [Img heavy] on: October 22, 2008 05:07:48 PM
Thank you both! I knew the 4th one was Queen Anne's Lace, that's always been one my favorite flowers.

So I'm not really a photographer but I finally got pictures off my camera and onto my computer and I thought a couple were pretty good and I wanted to share. Please let me know what you think of them, honestly. And if you know what any of the flowers are please let me know!

^This one is a close up of the flowers on the bush in the first picture.

5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Dr. Horrible Costume help on: October 10, 2008 04:28:18 PM
So I've fallen in love with Dr. Horrible and I'd like to be home for halloween this year. I've already figured out the googles and gloves but I'm a bit stuck on the rest of the outfit. Anyone know of any patterns that will get me close to his outfit, or better yet anything I could concievably recon? I'd really appreciate any help you guys would give me. And if you don't know who Dr. Horrible is check it out on Hulu!

Very nice! I have that exact mp3 player, I love Creatives. I'm sure that case will keep your player very safe, especially if you abuse yours like I abuse mine.
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Pi Scarf! on: August 08, 2008 04:22:23 PM
omg! I saw a picture of this and it was only part of the scarf but I knew right away it was a pi scarf! Pure genius! I wouldn't mind having one, then I'd be able to stay warm and show off a little bit of my nerd side. Very well made. Oh, and cute cat.
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Cloth sandwich pouches and snack bags on: February 19, 2008 05:16:37 AM
I don't use plastic baggies, I just use tupperware and wash it out every night. But this is still a good idea. And it's colorful and interesting! Certainly more exciting than clear plastic.
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Denim Shopping Bag on: February 18, 2008 06:02:35 AM
Thank you for your feedback everyone! I'm getting more and more attatched to my little tree, I love spring so a thawing tree is perfect for me.
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Denim Shopping Bag on: February 16, 2008 12:27:58 PM
So we have like six store bought reusable bags but whenever we go shopping that's never enough. Since I had some free time today I decided to make another reusable bag and use up some denim fabric that I've had forever. I attempted to do a tree stencil and it came out alright considering the way I did it. I'm pretty happy with the bag over all, it's nice and sturdy, and has plenty of room for food stuffs.

My tree looks a little like it's melting. Oh well. Now I know how not to do a stencil.
